HomeBaked App is committed to maintaining high standards in respecting the privacy of our customers and those visiting our website and mobile application. HomeBaked App has instituted policies and procedures as outlined below.

By entering and using this website, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of HomeBaked App’s privacy policy and to be bound by it. HomeBaked App reserves the right to change the terms of service, including this privacy policy, at any time, without notice. Changes to our privacy policy will be posted on this page so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.

The term “HomeBaked App” or “HomeBaked” or “we” or “us” or “our” refers to HomeBaked App and HomeBaked Australia. The term “you” refers to the user of our website and mobile application.

We may collect your personal information if it is necessary for us to do so. Cases where we may collect personal information include:
  1. When you sign up for our newsletter, mailing list or choose to be notified of any special offers or contents we are running;
  2. When dealing with any request or application for products or services;
  3. When you utilise our website or mobile application;
  4. When determining what products you purchased;
  5. When required by law.
We collect personal information in person, in writing, by telephone, through our website and through other methods of communication with individuals we deal with. All communications with us become the property of HomeBaked App. Sometimes we may be required to obtain personal information from third parties.

  1. Send email communication to you (including in response to emails you send us or when you view our website)
  2. Determine the areas of our website that you view as well as the IP address you use to connect to our website;
  3. Process your orders;
  4. Improve your experience on our website and mobile application, and to market our products;

  6. Determine which products you purchased and to offer you other products that we think may interest you.
We may disclose your personal information to third parties which we use in order to assist you better. We will use reasonable endeavors to ensure third parties protect your personal information in a way reasonably similar to our privacy policy.
HomeBaked App may use third party advertisers to display ads on our website as well as companies to provide tracking and analysis of information and data collected from guests to our website. They may use cookies or other tools to measure how you respond to their advertisements but any personal information that we collect will remain private. You may also choose to browse our website without cookies.
Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on our website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Any information or materials on this website are to be used entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. This website contains material which is owned by or licensed to us. This material includes, but is not limited to the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. You are not permitted to reproduce any of this material except as permitted by law.
All trademarks reproduced in this website and mobile application, which are not the property of or licensed to us, are acknowledged on the website.
Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.
You may not create a link to this website from another website or document without HomeBaked App’s prior written consent.
Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to the laws of Western Australia.
We currently utilise Stripe in the regular course of our business. You agree that your use of this website and mobile application shall also be subject to the Privacy Policies and Terms of Use of Stripe and any other third-party providers we utilise.
Your email address is used to correspond with you about any orders, offers, contests, etc. You may opt out of receiving any offers, newsletters, etc. by contacting us directly at hello@homebakedapp.com.au

Pickup Policy

All product orders with pickup selected must adhere to the following:

  • The buyer of the pickup order is required to pick up at the merchant baker’s specified address on the HomeBaked app.
  • Please have receipt or email confirmation with you at time of pick up.
  • Pickup orders must adhere to the specified date and time for pick up in accordance with their order purchase. Changes to this date and time must be agreed in writing beforehand by both parties.
  • Pickup orders must be held by the merchant baker for a minimum of 48 hours from the time the “Ready for Pickup” email is sent to the buyer.
  • Pickup orders are not available on the Blockout Dates specified by the baker merchant.
  • Since food products are perishable, we suggest merchant bakers store their goods in a cool space (e.g. refrigerator) where applicable. HomeBaked can also have available for purchase box packaging through the HomeBaked online store. However, HomeBaked excludes all liability for products not stored in this suggested manner.

Delivery Policy

All product orders with delivery selected must adhere to the following:

  • HomeBaked App supports delivery throughout Australia and relies on the address information supplied by merchant bakers and buyers as being valid, true and correct.
  • Order delivery and acceptance of the delivery is the responsibility of the merchant baker and buyer. HomeBaked accepts no liability for losses or damages incurred due to failure to receive a purchased product.

Delivery addresses

  • Deliveries can only be made to a street address within Australia. HomeBaked App does not support addresses outside of Australia and does not accept P.O Boxes.
  • HomeBaked App accepts no responsibility for change of delivery address once an address has been confirmed with a product order.
  • HomeBaked App is not responsible for delays in delivery times due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
  • HomeBaked App cannot be held liable for deliveries that are returned or require rerouting due to incorrect addresses.
  • HomeBaked App cannot provide refunds for late deliveries in the event of inability to access an address or if the recipient is not available to receive the product when delivered.
  • We encourage merchant bakers to require a signature on product delivery acceptance for their records.
  • It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure that the ordered product’s contents are stored correctly (e.g. in a refrigerator) promptly after delivery.
  • Estimated delivery timelines do not take unexpected weather delays into consideration, which can affect arrival dates.
  • HomeBaked App is not responsible for delays due to weather conditions or other natural causes beyond its control.
  • Weather and unforeseen circumstances can delay a product’s delivery. We recommend that you schedule your order to arrive at least 1 business day before your desired date to allow for any delays.
  • Since delivered products are perishable, we suggest you ship your order to an address where someone is available to receive it upon delivery.
  • The buyer of the pickup order is required to pick up at the merchant baker’s specified address on the HomeBaked app.

Refund Policy

  • Due to the perishable nature of the products sold, HomeBaked App does not facilitate returns or a return/refund policy.
  • In its absolute and unfettered discretion, HomeBaked App may issue a credit or re-order. This excludes the cost of HomeBaked’s Service Fee.
  • If, for some reason, you are unsatisfied with a product purchase, please contact our Support Team within 2 days of when your order was picked up, and we will respond to your concerns.

Payment Information

HomeBaked App accepts Visa, Mastercard and Amex cards, as well as all major credit cards.
